#VDLR68: The Theme

#VDLR68: The Theme
“DAPTAN YU NANU MAN ING SABYAN NA KEKAYU.”
The theme for this year’s celebration comes from John 2:5.
By the power of the only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit, the Mother of God tells us: “Do whatever he tells you.” Our Mother, silently reflecting in her heart on the gifts she received at the wedding in Cana, uttered her only request: “Do whatever he tells you.”
In her words, we understand her wisdom, which is reflected in her humility. In her words, we feel grace for our obedience and faith. In her words, we listen to and obey the commandments of Jesus.
This is the invitation of the Virgen de los Remedios, as she visits all the barrios, villages, and towns with the Sto. Cristo del Perdon y Caridad. On this 68th anniversary of the canonical coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, together with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the canonical establishment of the Archdiocese of San Fernando (P), the Mother of Grace reminds us that we are all baptized, full of grace. There is an abundance of grace in obedience and obedience to God’s will. This grace should also be shared with our brothers and sisters. Blessed are those who believe and believe.
This is the mother’s invitation; this is her plea: “Do whatever he tells you.
