The Archdiocese of San Fernando recently issued an updated policy that significantly updated the criteria governing church property construction, renovation, and major repairs. The circular letter (No. 26 Series 2024) containing the instrument adjoins Circular Letter 07, Series 1980, Policy-Norm (Pink): Faculty-Vicars Forane: Church Construction; Circular Letter 11, Series 1980, Directive (Yellow): Illegal Settlers on Church Lots; Circular Letter 02, Series 1981, Policy-Norm (Pink): Committee on Church-Convent Construction-Renovation; and Circular Letter 20, Series 1981, Policy-Norm (Pink): Private and Public Construction in Church Premise.
The Policy-Norm Instrument, as recommended by the Archdiocesan Presbyteral Council, takes effect immediately on June 27, 2024.
